Colin Russell
Colin joined the Team after an extensive period as chief mechanic with the well known leading Ford drag racing personality of Larry Ormsby. Colin steered Larry’s Fords to the pinnacle of their drag racing class, this success rate came to the attention of Big Al who supported the Ormsby drag car on an on-going successful basis. Colin’s skills now transferred to the Lot 6 Team. Due to Colin’s physique (today’s read size) it made him a natural, like Geoff, to fling a fuel churn over his head with ease during a pit stop.
In more recent times Colin can be found and heard with a microphone in hand providing motor sporting commentary at various events.
