John Mepstead

John joined the Ford Team from a successful period at Repco-Brabham engines. During this period Repco-Brabham achieved 2 World Championships, Indianapolis, American Can Am Series and local race car categories were all categories John was involved in.

John’s experiences in these fields were bought into Lot 6 and supported the on-going Series Production engine development as well as the now famous 600 plus horsepower improved production Cleveland installed in the two Super Falcons.

After leaving Ford John moved to RMIT where his skills were utilized in various projects conducted in air flow research in the wind tunnel operation.
